| P.P.I. Recording Studio, located in beautiful Soho, NYC is proud to announce that the second year of the hugely successful 4-week basic recording technique course is here. Dont miss out, as this course is in negotiation with several NYC colleges that all want to offer it as an off-campus class for music students. It may not be around at such a great rate for long! The course starts from the absolute basics and fundamentals, catering primarily to the beginner or novice, so don't be shy!! NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! The classes will cover microphone technology, recording of voice, and recording of instruments, to name a few. Students will be recording tracks and mixing in PRO TOOLS (a necessity for any recording engineer), as well as explore plug-ins and basic Midi. Students will master in Peak Pro, and have the ultimate hands-on experience, learning learn these music business essentials in a professional working NYC recording studio. Classes are taught by a professional engineer with over 20 yrs of experience and a degree in Music. Each weekly class is 2 hours and will cost $50 per student/class. 4 week program covers the entire course. We offer the option for future programs which are custom-designed according to each student's personality, ability, and overall comprehension. Follow-up classes are non-obligatory, and completely up to the student based on his or her interest. We only accept 5 students per class, but might see how a class of 6-8 would work.
